SUSTAINABLE SOUTHBURY ENERGY FAIR AND GREEN EXPO

Do you want to learn more about how you and your family can use clean energy, reduce energy use and carbon footprint, reduce waste, and become more sustainable? Come to Sustainable Southbury’s Energy Fair and Green Expo on Saturday, September 28th, (rain or shine) from 10 AM to 2 PM on the Town Hall Green, 501 Main Street South, Southbury.

The energy fair is an excellent way for people of all ages to learn how to become more energy-efficient, sustainable, and environmentally friendly. There will be activities for kids, music, food trucks, posters made by Region 15 students, and fun and engaging exhibits about clean energy and conservation, waste reduction, the health impacts of single-use plastics, clean air, and water, and things you might not associate with sustainability ... such as arts and crafts exhibits by local artisans, a plant sale, master composters, affordable housing, a different vision for a strip mall, clean transportation, and clean energy.

We have electric cars, electric bikes, and electric lawn equipment exhibitors lined up and a fun interactive exhibit you can step into that features The Energy Grid, The Plasma Tube, The Thermal Tunnel, The Generation Station, Wind Power, and a Light Wall.

Come and learn about how you can save money and make a difference!
